CERT Event

Please be aware the Clay County fair is just around the corner. The dates are April 3rd through the 12th. The Clay County CERT will have a booth in the main exhibit building. We will be on hand to promote the program and answer any questions that the general public has. I will be in touch with further information on times that we will need to be present.xyz

CERT was developed by the Los Angles Fire Department to teach people to safely care for themselves, their families and communities during major earthquakes. The CERT program was based on the assumption that, following a major disaster, first response organizations will be overwhelmed or unable to respond due to communication or transportation difficulties.

To register for the next CERT class, send email to CERT Coordinator John Ward Clay County Public Safety or call 904-284-7703 .
